The idea of having a Private Hospital in San Jose Batangas was conceptualized in July 2010 by the four individuals namely: DR. REYNALDO OZAETA, DR. ROSVILINDA OZAETA, DR. MAGNO MAPALAD, JR., and DR. ALAN JAPOR. They aimed to make healthcare services easier and cost effective not only to the people of San Jose but also to its nearby towns and cities. This idea was then introduced to different practicing doctors of San Jose, Batangas and even in other areas, which received a very warm reception.

    Common Shares were then sold and Ground-Breaking Ceremony was held on March 2011. All necessary documents were filed, all permits to operate got into hands, and hiring personnel to render quality healthcare was done. After all the hardships of fulfilling a dream, it has now become true that the hospital was brought into reality. It is now open and ready to serve people at all times, in the name of Metro San Jose Medical Center.

    The corporation, SPOUSE OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN HOSPITAL CORPORATION DOING BUSINESS UNDER THE NAME AND STYLE OF METRO SAN JOSE MEDICAL CENTER was incorporated and registered at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on November 22, 2010. License to Operate as a Level 2 Hospital was granted by the Department of Health on January 1, 2013. The corporation was registered at the Bureau of Internal Revenue on February 25, 2011. It is also a PhilHealth Accredited since July 10, 2012.

    A permit from the office of the City Mayor which is being renewed annually was also granted to the corporation this January 24, 2013 and valid until December 31, 2013.
